It is so unlike me to have decorations up for a holiday other than Christmas. Because I am nurturing love and hope this year as part of my personal goals I decided to get my Valentine’s decorations up when I took Christmas down.
I may add a few more things as it gets closer but for now I’m happy with what I have. I think this bird looks great wearing love.
A little touch for the bathroom:
The great thing is that I didn’t spend any money. I found these hearts at a thrift shop a long time ago and the sticks with hearts came from the dollar store last year. I used ribbon from my stash and some from Christmas (red is such a versatile color). A friend gave me the sticky valentine words years ago and I finally got around to getting them out. They are made to go on the wall but instead I put them on items I had on hand (an old cabinet door I painted black and a window that has been in my garage) so I can pull them out each year. Happy Valentine’s Day!
