I finished my first quilt of 2013 last week. I started the blocks in 2012, so it was a matter of putting it together with the sashing, doing the quilting and binding.
It’s a baby quilt, so it’s not that big of a deal. But since I only finished 1 quilt in 2012, it’s a big deal that I completed my first quilt of 2013 in the first week of the year.
The quilt is made out of the fabric line Sugar Pop with 2 charm packs that I purchased when it first came out.
the back is made of some fabrics in the line that I have picked up on clearance here and there, except for the zip zag which is a Heather Bailey print.
I was able to give this quilt to my friend at her baby shower on Saturday. Here’s to a year of many more finished quilts. -K
