My dad found this cute little desk at a garage sale for one of my daughters. I intended to have it finished in time for her birthday but, true to form, I didn’t get to it until a month later. We are working on getting her room looking cute which is a bit tricky because she shares it with her 8 month old baby sister. Here is the desk before:
She chose a cute yellow and I love how it turned out. Now I’m searching for the time to get the curtains done and the walls painted, which may not happen until school starts in August. I also painted a frame and a mirror to go with it.
I adore these birdie pulls that I picked up at Pottery Barn Kids last year on clearance.
Next time you see an old piece of furniture think about giving it another chance! If it has good bones, it’s easy to rescue. Enjoy!
