We love hair bows. They are just so girlie on little girls and dress up any outfit. Not to mention that every time I take my baby out people think she is a boy unless she is wearing something on her head. Really, even when she is wearing pink. I don’t get it.
Every time I make a new bow it seems to dissapear the first time it is worn (usually thanks to dad). So I spent a little bit of time the other day making a set of hair bows for my two year old and 8 month old. Hopefully I made enough to hold us over for a while. Here is what I made minus a couple that have already been lost of course:
This type of bow is my favorite. I love the classic bow shape. I used this tutorial for it. A little vintage bead added gives it a fun look:
Please excuse my photography skills. These photos weren’t taken specifically to show off the bows.
I used this tutorial for this next bow. I am loving the skinny headbands for babies. I think they are more fitting for their itty bitty heads.
Hair bows are totally unnecessary, I know. I like them anyway. It is always fun to dress up a little bit!
