When my husband and I were in college and before we were married, every week we would write “love notes” to each other. We recently started giving love notes again but haven’t come up with a good way to give them to each other. We have been putting them in a cookie jar. The problem with this is that both of us always forget to check it. So THIS is my solution:
I turned my mini clipboard into our new way to deliver love notes. I added magnets to the back so it can be on the front of the refrigerator, always there for us to see. A pile of heart shaped cards sits next to it ready for use. 
Whenever either of us feels like writing a love note, we can take one of the hearts, write on it, and clip it onto the clipboard. The love note gets delivered as soon as the other person opens the refrigerator.
I haven’t decided if we will just bring this out for valentine’s day every year, or if we’ll always keep it up.
