I am not going to lie, I struggled with this project. I don’t know if it was just stress of trying to get everything done before we go out of town, or what it was. I just couldn’t think of how I wanted my ornament to look. I even did something on the backside that I didn’t like at all, so I turned it over and started again. As long as it doesn’t get flipped over, I think it turned out alright.
After messing around with other ideas that didn’t work, I ended up with this. I burned squares of the paper and stacked them on top of each other. I glittered the star and put it on top. I wrapped the green garland around it and added a little detail to the edges. Simple. Nothing too fancy.
I do like that I have another ornament to hang on our itty bitty apartment tree.
It did get me in the Christmas spirit though! Merry Christmas!
