The last tag I chose to make was an effort to use the dictionary page as the main paper. I stamped a couple of Christmas ornaments on it and placed it on top of the black ornament paper.
I used more of the Christmas themed masking tape I had to add a “Wishing you a holly jolly Christmas” greeting across the top. I then glued my last scrap of rick rack beneath it.
{I should note here that it wasn’t until I was typing this post that I noticed I’d managed to use the dictionary page that defines Halloween. Oh well, I’ll get better at this.}
The print on the dictionary paper was really too dark and bold to make writing on it work well so I (again) punched some solid cream paper, folded it in half, inked the edges and added some flower stamens for interest. I then stapled it to the edge of the dictionary paper. I also added a scalloped circle beneath the flap so you have room to write something under there.
While this tag didn’t end up being my favorite, it was fun to make!
