I was surprised at how much I enjoyed doing this little project. I love seeing the differences and similarities in the way they all turned out.
For my favor box I kept it fairly simple. I tied ribbon around the base and added a little bit of the leaf ribbon to it. I had fun experimenting with the glitter on the top. I think my home will forever be taken over by glitter. I glued a tag to the top that I wrote on and added one of the little leaf buttons to it.
I added a little bit of interest to the inside by gluing the turkey paper to the base.
I think this would make a great little gift box for a Thanksgiving gift. I also love the idea of having a box for each member of your family and writing grateful notes to each person. Your kids could even personalize their own box! I haven’t decided what I am going to do with mine yet. I may now have an excuse to make something yummy to put in it. We’ll see!
