onesie cupcakes

I recently had a few baby showers to go to and wanted to try to embellish some cute onesies for gifts.  I saw this idea for the cupcakes and decided to try to make one with the few onesies I was giving.

I first took the dress onesie and folded it into a long strip. Then I took one of the other onesies and stuffed it in and rolled it up.  I used a coffee filter as the cupcake liner and tied a fabric around it.

For the second cupcake, I took the last onesie I had and folded it into a strip. I had a flower and headband to give as part of the gift, so I put the headband in the onesie so the flower stuck out the top and rolled it up. Once again, it was put in a coffee filter with a bow around it.  Since I didn’t have a bakery box to put it in, I just tied it up.

Mom-to-be loved the gift, now I just can’t wait to see the cute little baby!
