Several years ago I got this crazy idea to paint the driveway with a huge flag for the 4Th of July. The sizes of the flag varies from year to year, depending on how quickly we use up the paint and how fast the parents are worn out:). The tradition has stuck, it’s one that my children look forward to with eagerness. We often have friends come join in the fun and after we are finished it is really easy to give directions to our home! We sang some patriotic songs and had a fun barbecue dinner and red white and blue desserts. I love the flag!
