By this evening, I felt a bit like my little man and wanted to jump and shout hooray too! It is the week of Easter. The kids were off school today and I’d say the week began splendidly. The funniest thing today is that my four year old listened intently as her oldest sister told her all about Easter, from the Resurrection right down to the Easter Bunny. Afterwards she said that she knew all that about Jesus but never before in her life had she heard of the Easter Bunny and when was he coming? OH, that girl! 
Since the kids didn’t have school today they requested some fun Easter activities. We got out all the baskets and the kids insisted on lining them up on the front porch. We went to the park and flew the kite, colored Easter greetings on the driveway with chalk, baked sugar cookies, and had a mini egg hunt inside the house with eggs filled with some scriptures that gave us reminders of what Easter is really all about. I felt like we were having a great day and that feeling got even better when my son said ‘This is the best day EVER.’ I love it when that happens.
